Marcus Glahn is a Berlin-based photographer driven by a passion for capturing everyday life’s raw and authentic moments.
A personal focus on social documentary projects allows him to delve deep into the heart of various communities and capture the unique stories and experiences of the individuals within them.
Grounded in a strong sense of social responsibility and a deep desire to make a positive impact he believes that photography has the power to enlighten societal issues and push journalistic boundaries whether it's documenting a protest, uncovering a hidden community, or capturing the humanity of an individual. His goal is to create images that are both aesthetically compelling and meaningful and although providing a powerful visual narrative that sparks dialogue and encourages action.
He is passionate about collaborating with other journalists and artists to create compelling, thought-provoking reportages that engage and inform a wide global audience.
With a background in the photo- and radio journalism he approaches each project with a keen eye and ear for detail and a commitment to capturing the truth that he experiences on location. By practicing ethical and responsible photography, Marcus strives to be a trusted and reliable source for international magazines, newspaper outlets, branding agencies, and various cultural institutions.
